Sept. 17, 2010 ORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State cross country and track team will be hosting its 2010 `reunion/celebration' as part of its alumni weekend. The main event will be Friday, Sept. 17in the Club Level of Reser Stadium. There are already 150-200 alumni registered to attend the event with football head coach Mike Riley set to make an appearance and address the gathering. There will also be a video and photo presentation looking back into the history of the Oregon State cross country and track and field programs. Among the alumni set to attend are Olympic gold medalist in the high jump Dick Fosbury, two time Olympian `Hailu Ebba,' 1,500 meter school record holder Mark Fricker, throwers Ron and Butch Schmit, distance great Gyd Rysdam, Gary Stenlund, and Steve and Kathleen Pauly. Also, scheduled to attend are former coaches Berny Wagner, Chuck McNeil, Pat Ingram among others. The event is by reservation only but there is still time.
